Gillian Zinser Style

First blog so far and I've decided to start with my personal favourite, Gillian Zinser. In my opinion the 90210 has the laid back surfer chick look completely covered. Beachy waves, denim cut offs, hippy tees and layered up jewellery. The look I have focused on today is this leather and lace combo. This look is a simple one to achieve by mixing pretty and tough pieces to avoid to much of one or the other.

My high street choices are a black creased cropped leather jacket from owntherunway.com for £37.99.  Followed by, a short, white, lace dress to 'prettify' the look from Amazon.co.uk by John Zack for £34.99. This look is particularly versatile, like Gillian she has pared this opaque grey/blue tights or go for bare legs and heels for a night out.

For the jewellery, anything goes. I would definitely recommend Topshop for this kind of thing, long, layered necklaces with pendants.
